About Me

I live in Dunoon, a small town on the west coast of Scotland. I am a qualified Person-Centered Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their guidelines for professional and ethical practice. I offer online, telephone and in-person counselling.

Prior to my counselling training I worked with adults providing literacy tutoring with creative writing. I have also worked with adults in crisis supporting those with drug and alcohol addiction and homelessness.

I have experience of counselling, both short-term and longer-term within a community-based counselling agency, working with a range of issues.

I have extensive experience in providing bereavement support, working initially on the Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland Helpline and then as an online and telephone bereavement counsellor throughout my training to the present.

In my life outside of counselling I am a published poet & passionate about poetry, I'm also a nature lover, sea glass collector and foodie!
