About Me

I live in Dunoon, a small town on the west coast of Scotland. I am a qualified Person-Centered Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their guidelines for professional and ethical practice. I offer online, telephone and in-person counselling. I am a Police Firearms Officers Association (PFOA) approved counsellor.

Prior to my counselling training I worked with adults providing literacy tutoring with creative writing. I have also worked with adults in crisis supporting those with drug and alcohol addiction and homelessness.

I have experience of counselling, both short-term and longer-term within a community-based counselling agency, working with a range of issues.

I have extensive experience in providing bereavement support, working initially on the Cruse Scotland Bereavement Support helpline and then as a bereavement counsellor with Cruse throughout my training.

In my life outside of counselling I am a published poet & passionate about poetry, I'm also a nature lover, sea glass collector and foodie!
